The Czech Republic international lost his spot as the Blues’ No. 1 at the start of the season, with Thibaut Courtois returning to Stamford Bridge after a three-year spell with Atletico Madrid.
Despite having been the Londoners’ main stopper for the best part of a decade, Cech looks unlikely to get back in ahead of the Belgian, who has been impressive.
Although Jose Mourinho has claimed that he can keep both players happy, reports have suggested for some time that the 32-year-old is considering his future, with interest in his signature high.
Monaco and PSG have been aligned with the veteran ‘keeper, and now Beskitas have emerged as candidates.
Chelsea have just agreed a partnership deal with the Turkish giants, which is aimed at sending young players to Istanbul to develop and agent Mithat Halis – who has links with Cech’s representatives – believes that Besiktas could be a genuine option for the player:
“We have not held talks yet. However, Chelsea have recently made an agreement with Besiktas. Chelsea have similar deals with Vitesse and other clubs.
“If Cech does become available Besiktas would become a potential destination.”
