Unsettled superstar wanted by Chelsea despite Arsenal interest

Chelsea have joined the long list of clubs chasing unsettled Barcelona ace Pedro, according to reports from Marca.

The Spaniard has long been seen as a key cog in an impressive Nou Camp set-up, but his game time has been limited this term following the arrival of Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

The Uruguayan is often deployed in a dream front three alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar, leaving the 2010 World Cup winner on the bench.

Pedro himself has hinted that he’s far from content with his role under Luis Enrique, which had opened to door for summer moves to Arsenal, Manchester United or Liverpool.

However, Chelsea are now in the running, with reports claiming Jose Mourinho is eager to add the 27-year-old to his Premier League table-topping squad.

Pedro could even be available for as little as £12m, as his contract is set to expire in 2016.
