Watch: The players who just weren’t ‘ good enough’ for Chelsea

Mohamed Salah’s form this season has led to comparisons with Lionel Messi.

It will certainly be music to the ears of the Anfield faithful (until the transfer window opens at least) but the Egyptian’s rise to prominence probably isn’t going down quite as well with Chelsea fans.

Salah’s time at Stamford Bridge was short-lived and he was promptly moved on to Italy, never to be seen again, presumably.

It’s a familiar scenario for Blues fans, as you will see from our list of other players who were deemed simply “not good enough” for Chelsea.
