According to The Mirror, Chelsea 'have alerted leading agents' that they expect to be able to sign new players in the January transfer window.

The Blues are currently serving a transfer suspension which prevented them from signing any new players during the summer transfer window.

At the moment, that ban is also in place for January.

However, according to The Mirror, Chelsea are confident of winning their appeal and if the ban is overturned they will be able to conduct business at the start of 2020.

And that has led to a number of Chelsea fans discussing potential targets.

The Sun claimed last month that Frank Lampard's side would target an £80m move for Wilfried Zaha in January if they managed to overturn the ban.

However, when one supporter mentioned a potential swoop for the Crystal Palace ace in the winter, a number of the fans insisted that they did not want the 26-year-old.
