Frank Lampard's first game as head coach of Chelsea has come and gone after a one-all draw against Bohemians in Dublin on Wednesday.

And with that game, the Blues' pre-season has officially started. Lampard used a total of 22 players throughout his first 90 minutes as the Chelsea gaffer and one of those names was the returning talent, Michy Batshuayi.

Batshuayi spent the 2018/19 campaign playing both in La Liga and the Premier League, defending the colours of Valencia and Crystal Palace respectively.

But now that his loan spells have finally ended, the Belgian ace is once again donning the Blue, at least for now.

He shared an

It was quite a promising start for the young forward and some of his friends and rivals sent their messages of support, replying to the snap.

Alex Witsel, Borussia Dortmund's ace, was one of those as he posted a series emojis for the 25-year-old.

Batshuayi played a total of 36 games in all competitions in the 2018/19 season, scoring nine goals in the process.
