What a weekend of football. Again we had games up and down the Premier League that thrilled, even though the fixture list, on paper at least, didn’t look overly enthralling.
The race for the title looks like it will be a widespread one, with Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool all winning to maintain their equal status at the top of the pile, while Chelsea did their bit by beating Southampton to stay within one point of the leaders. Elsewhere, Spurs dropped two points at home to Leicester City, opening up what, weirdly, feels like a big gap of three points between themselves and the summit of the division.
Slightly further down, Manchester United rained a whopping 37 shots at Burnley’s goal at Old Trafford but were unable to breach the resolute Carets defence, which resulted in much frustration – Jose Mourinho was sent to the stands for being… erm… well… Jose Mourinho!
We all learnt lots of lessons across the weekend, and here’s our very own @RyanJayBailey with his rundown of the action…
