Manchester City's poor run of form continued this evening as Barcelona eased to a 4-0 victory at the Nou Camp, leaving Pep Guardiola's side without a win in their last four matches and looking in an uncomfortable position in their Champions League group.

It's not the first time City have come unstuck against the Catalan giants and the result echoed Guardiola's last visit to his former employers, when his Bayern Munich side at the time were defeated 3-0.

City's entire team underperformed on the night but it was one man who faced social media's wrath this evening, with Claudio Bravo grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons. After mis-kicking the ball, Bravo used his hands way outside the area and earned his marching orders.

Given the fact that Guardiola was determined to sign the Chilean goalkeeper and set England's first-choice stopper Joe Hart to Torino in the process, fans were understandably questioning the decision and whether Bravo really is better than City's long-serving man.

Bravo hasn't quite settled into life with the Premier League side yet but, at this rate, it could be a very short spell in English football.
