Confirmed XIs: Chelsea v Tottenham

It’s almost time for the biggest game of the weekend as a London derby between Chelsea and Spurs draws ever nearer.

Kick-off for this one is now less than under an hour away at Stamford Bridge with plenty riding on it already in terms of the title race.

The Blues know that if they win the game they’ll be top of the table for another week whilst the Lilywhites are looking to preserve the only unbeaten record left in the division.

It’s a fixture that needs no introduction in terms of the animosity the two clubs feel towards each other and, as if you need reminding, this tie sees the first clash between the two since the Blues ended Spurs’ title challenge last season.

That can’t happen tonight. But after Spurs crashed out of the Champions League earlier in the week, the men from west London will be looking to deliver another significant blow to their season.
