Confirmed XIs: Everton v West Ham

After yesterday saw the title race and relegation scrap take centre stage in the Premier League, the focus, in the first game of this Super Sunday, turns to the chase for the European spots as Everton host West Ham at Goodison Park.

The Toffees and The Hammers have had contrasting starts to their seasons so far with West Ham struggling up until recent weeks and Everton in and around the top four but both have designs on qualifying for the Europa League at the very least.

You’d think, at first, that based on table position Everton were the favourites by some way, too, but in fact if you look at the two sides’ form going into this one, it’s West Ham who are in the ascendancy.

The Toffees have not won since 17th September whilst their visitors are on a three-game winning streak in all competitions.

It should, then, be a keenly contested affair and the line-ups have been released ahead of the 13:30 kick-off:
