Christian Benteke has revealed what he’s been up to during Crystal Palace’s winter break.
The 37-cap Belgium international scored in the Eagles’ last outing against Everton, marking the occasion with his first goal of the campaign having once again struggled for form this season – he managed to net only once last term.
However, the former Aston Villa and Liverpool striker is clearly trying to get himself back in top form as he has been spending his winter break on the training ground, as his Twitter post shows.
Benteke uploaded a video showing him working on his fitness and also doing some work with the ball alongside a trainer, with the caption: “What winter break?”
At a time where most players are enjoying themselves on holiday – Cenk Tosun, for example, has jetted off to Dubai – it is good to see the 29-year-old knuckling down to try and improve his fitness and also his form.
