Crystal Palace are considering a possible move to sign Barcelona midfielder Alex Song once he returns from his loan spell at West Ham, The Sun reports.
The 28-year-old is currently playing for the Hammers, but despite having a clause to sign him on a permanent basis, manager Slaven Bilic looks set to reject the Cameroonian.
However, Palace boss Alan Pardew could use the opportunity to try and lure him to Selhurst Park should he want to continue his role in the Premier League.
He is unlikely to get any playing time under Barca boss Luis Enrique upon his return after failing to live up to expectations ever since his £15million move from Arsenal back in 2012.
Song still has another year remaining on his current deal with the La Liga giants, but it is likely that the Enrique will sanction his sale given that he is still on an £80,000-a-week contract at the Camp Nou.
He has only managed to register 10 starts in all competitions for the Hammers this term, so far featuring another five times from the bench.
