According to The Telegraph, Shinji Okazaki’s time at Leicester will come to an end upon the expiry of his contract, with the Japanese hitman keen to move to a new club at the end of the season.
Having been linked with the 33-year-old in the midst of their January striker search, Crystal Palace have just been given the green light to make a second swoop in the summer when they inevitably look to reinforce their often toothless front line once again.
The former Mainz man has failed to find the net in 20 league appearances this campaign having been mainly used as a substitute by Claude Puel, while Brendan Rodgers is surely willing to let him leave, with another striker surely high on the transfer agenda.
