Some Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s debut for Manchester United.
The 21-year-old right-back was making his first competitive appearance for the Red Devils since signing for them in a £50m summer move from Palace, and he didn’t disappoint.
Wan-Bissaka helped his new side to a 4-0 win over Chelsea at Old Trafford, completing a whopping six tackles over the course of the 90 minutes, according to WhoScored, as well as making five clearances and three interceptions – it was a real defensive masterclass.
Given the fact that this will probably have been the first time some Palace fans have watched the England Under-21 star play for a team that isn’t their own – unless they watched United’s pre-season fixtures – his heroics have sparked discussion amongst some supporters of the Eagles on Twitter.
Let’s take a look at what the Palace fans have been saying about Wan-Bissaka on the popular social media platform…
You were brilliant mate. Croydon boy made good. Just don’t ever forget where you came from. #cpfc ????

Pleased to hear Wan Bissaka is playing well, so far, on his M.Utd debut. Shame he’s not with us though. #Cpfc
