Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to drool over Jordan Ayew's performance against Bournemouth on Tuesday evening, as the Eagles managed to secure an unlikely 1-0 win given the circumstances.

Roy Hodgson's side went down to ten men after just 19 minutes when Mamadou Sakho carelessly lunged in on Adam Smith, leaving the south Londoners with a mountain to climb in terms of getting anything from the game.

However, Jeffrey Schlupp's goal made sure of an admirable victory, with Ayew playing a massive role in his side's success.

The Ghana international had two shots, two dribbles and won a huge six fouls to relieve the pressure on his side, while his defensive contribution was a significant one.

Ayew made two tackles and two clearances, as well as one interception in what was a vital effort to help his side get up the pitch and avoid relentless Bournemouth attacks.

This supporter said that they couldn't even "put into words how good" the former Aston Villa man was against Eddie Howe's side, stating that goals aren't everything and that the other parts of Ayew's game were "absolute class".

Another fan said that they didn't even think the 28-year-old was capable of a performance such as the one he delivered against the Cherries.

The drooling over Ayew's performance continued with these three supporters, who each praised the African in their own different way - unreal and immense were the adjectives of the day on this occasion.

Lastly, this fan said that Ayew did his "best Lionel Messi impression" against Bournemouth, before taking time to highlight James McArthur and Cheikhou Kouyate's contributions.
