Lots of Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Jordan Ayew, after the forward turned in an excellent performance in the 0-0 draw against Everton at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The Ghana international spent the entirety of last season on loan with the Eagles, but was playing his first game as an official Palace player after making the move permanent in the summer for a fee of just £2.5m.

Ayew netted just one league goal last term, but the 27-year-old's industry off the ball is arguably his best trait and is what some Palace fans below reference as a key part of his performance against the Toffees - one fan said that the 6 foot forward "gave 110%".

The former Aston Villa forward had one shot on target and won one aerial duel, whilst he also played one key pass as Roy Hodgson's side were unlucky not to get the win against Marco Silva's men - Ayew and Max Meyer both missed good chances to score.
