Former Crystal Palace man Jordon Mutch has joined South Korean outfit Gyeongnam FC, having been released by the Eagles last month as they looked to lighten their wage bill and offload some deadwood.

Following Mutch out the exit door were Jason Puncheon, Alexander Sorloth, Jonny Williams, Sullay Kaikai and Nya Kirby, who have moved on to pastures new or been sent out on loan for the remainder of the season.

In his four years at the club, Mutch made just 40 appearances for the south London outfit and was sent out on numerous loans as many surely presumed he was surplus to requirements.
