According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, Lazio are intrigued by Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic's contract situation at Selhurst Park as they say the player has no intention of signing a new one, and Eagles fans have been quick to react on Twitter.

The Serbia international has established himself as one of the south London outfit's key players in recent seasons, and he was even their top goalscorer from the middle of the park during the 2018/19 campaign.

However, the 28-year-old only has one year remaining on his deal at SE25 and has no intention of extending his stay with Roy Hodgson's side according to Corriere dello Sport, via Sport Witness, with Lazio considering him as a potential replacement if they lose Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer.

Unsurprisingly, Eagles supporters on the popular social media platform have been quick to react to the report emerging from Italy, and they have some strong opinions.

While one says it is "disappointing to hear", another labelled the midfielder as "irreplaceable", which comes as no surprise seeing as he scored 12 Premier League goals last term and is the team's free-kick and penalty taker.

If he did go in the next week he would undoubtedly leave big shoes to fill, but it could also be a dilemma for Palace as it may be their last chance to get a decent fee for him if he does indeed have no intention of putting pen-to-paper on that new contract.

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
