Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react to Jordan Ayew's first ever goal for the club, after the Ghanaian netted late on against Wolves to ensure that all three points went back to south London.

Ayew hadn't scored for the Eagles since arriving on loan from Swansea back in the summer, and has in fact been the source of a lot of frustration for Palace fans who have watched him put in some pretty abhorrent performances.

At Molineux, however, the former Aston Villa man became the first striker to score a goal from open play for Palace in just under a year, a moment which left the 27-year-old in tears before he was bundled on by his teammates.

Understandably, Palace fans were shocked that Ayew netted what turned out to be a vital strike, as it practically won the game but for Luka Milivojevic's 95th-minute penalty to put the icing on the cake.
