Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to unanimously agree on their favourite Christian Benteke moment during the Belgian's time at the club.

The former Aston Villa forward had many a good moment in his first season at Selhurst Park, scoring a total of 17 goals across all competitions in 2016/17 following a £27m move from Liverpool.

However, since that particular campaign, the 29-year-old has floundered in miserable fashion.

In both the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons, as well as this term so far, Benteke has managed just four goals in his last 63 appearances, which is pretty shocking for a striker of his pedigree and price tag.

Despite that, these Palace fans on Twitter have looked past his deficiencies to agree on their favourite Benteke moment since he arrived at the club.

This supporter below said that "anything else is wrong" when responding to the question that sparked the discussion, and their opinion was met with a reply from another fan who agreed with the sentiment, adding that Benteke played like a "prime" version of the iconic Brazilian Ronaldo on that day at Stamford Bridge where Palace beat Chelsea 2-1.

Another fan took to their keyboard to speak highly of Benteke's chipped goal on that day back in 2017, stating that the occasion in itself was memorable as well as the strike.

Additionally, this particular Palace supporter said that it was his favourite Benteke moment "by a mile" and simply loved the audacity of the goal, in which the Eagles No.17 sat Thibaut Courtois on his backside before lofting the ball over him.

Lastly, this supporter continued with the theme by naming Benteke's chip as his favourite moment as well, referring to Benteke's nickname "Big Ben" when doing so.

It is a real shame to have seen things go as stale as they have done in recent years for Benteke, but one thing is quite clearly for certain - these supporters definitely haven't forgotten his excellent goal against the eventual champions from that 2016/17 campaign.
