Some Crystal Palace fans have criticised the club's plans to bid £10million for Norwich right-back Max Aarons, as per The Mirror's live transfer blog (July 4, 10:01am).

The Eagles are seeking to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka who recently left Selhurst Park to join Manchester United for a deal which could rise to £50m.

And the south London outfit are hoping to steal a march on Tottenham for the 19-year-old, who helped the Canaries gain promotion back to the Premier League last season.

He played in all but five of the Championship winners' league games during their triumphant 2018/19 campaign, contributing two goals and eight assists in the process.

It was a breakthrough season for the teenager given he had previously not made a single first-team appearance for the now top tier side.

But irrespective of his recent burst onto the scene, Palace supporters do not believe his limited amount of time in Norwich's first team will mean they can get him in on the cheap.

This was shown by them taking to Twitter to voice their disappointment about the amount the club were willing to offer for the youngster.

Here is some of the reaction:
