Crystal Palace lining up move for Hull hit-man

Sone Aluko (Hull)Crystal Palace are lining up a January raid for Hull striker Sone Aluko as they plot to avoid relegation, according to reports from The Mirror.

The Eagles are currently the Premier League’s lowest scorers with a meagre six goals, and occupy the very bottom spot of the table after 11 games.

The Londoners are desperate to give themselves a chance of avoiding an immediate return to the Championship, and believe that adding a new forward to their ranks could boost their chances of doing so.

Aluko is believed to be their top target- despite his current injury status – with the Tigers forward’s contract close to expiration.

The 24-year-old is set to be a free agent at the end of the season and, as of yet, Hull have not offered him a new deal.

Palace are confident that they can lure him to London, and believe that a £2.6m offer may be enough to convince their fellow newly promoted side to sell.

Meanwhile, the Selhurst Park side have also been linked with Burnley hot-shot Danny Ings.

The 21-year-old has been in razor-sharp from for the Championship side, registering 14 goals already this term.
