Crystal Palace plotting utterly audacious move for £35m Arsenal target

Crystal Palace are plotting an audacious £15m bid for in form striker Michy Batshuayi, according to The Sun.

The Eagles are reportedly eyeing the Belgian and are not deterred by his previous links with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea, nor the fact Marseille are thought to rate him at around £35m.

The 22-year old has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest strikers this term after 10 goals in Ligue 1, as well as netting on his international debut for the Belgian national team.

The South London club smashed their transfer record in the summer to land £10m Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain in what was viewed as one of the most shocking transfers in Premier League history.

Alan Pardew is presiding over exciting times at Selhurst Park as they challenge the top order of the league despite previously being relatively unfashionable.

Now, they are said to be making moves to secure a major transfer coup next month.
