Crystal Palace take on manager-less Watford this weekend, with the Hornets in the most perilous position in the Premier League.

Last season's FA Cup finalists - who knocked Palace out at the quarter-final stage - have already sacked two managers after parting ways with Javi Gracia and then Quique Sanchez Flores, while sitting bottom of England's top-flight with just eight points from 15 games.

Watford have won just once in the league this term, but as we have already detailed, they still have some players who can pose the south Londoners some problems.

Let's take a look at the XI that we think Roy Hodgson should put out against the Hornets this weekend...

As you can see, not much has changed from the line-up that faced Burnley before the game against Bournemouth on Tuesday night.

With Scott Dann and Gary Cahill injured - the pair of them missed the game against the Cherries - and Mamadou Sakho now suspended for the game against Watford following his red card against Bournemouth, this could be the perfect time for Hodgson to implement an academy prospect into the starting XI. Sam Woods.

The 21-year-old started the Carabao Cup game against Colchester and impressed in an unnatural right-back role, and seeing as the Hornets have scored the least goals in the Premier League with nine strikes to their name, this seems like a good time to gel Woods in.

Elsewhere, we also think that there shouldn't be a place in the XI for Jeffrey Schlupp, despite his heroics off the bench against Burnley at Turf Moor and against Bournemouth, his energy is much more effective against tired opponents.
