Crystal Palace welcome Sheffield United to Selhurst Park this Saturday, where Roy Hodgson's side will be looking to record their first Premier League win since Boxing Day.

The Eagles last registered three points against West Ham a day after Christmas, thanks to a stunning solo goal from Jordan Ayew, although four draws and a loss have ensued since.

In Sheffield United's case, Chris Wilder's men have been excellent this season, and are currently sitting pretty in eighth with 33 points to their name, while the south Londoners sit 11th on 30 points.

A recent arrival in Cenk Tosun will be unavailable for this game because of a hamstring injury, while Mamadou Sakho and Jeffrey Schlupp are also still missing - Christian Benteke, Andros Townsend and Patrick van Aanholt all recently returned to training, however, while Luka Milivojevic is back from suspension.

Here is the XI that we think Hodgson should deploy against the Blades...

For a start, we think Martin Kelly should return to the bench as Joel Ward is now back in action, having come off the bench in the 62nd minute of Palace's last outing against Southampton - the former Portsmouth man is Hodgson's only natural option in the role.

Ahead of him in midfield, we think the Eagles' captain, Milivojevic, should come straight back into the fold in place of James McCarthy given his importance to the side - the Republic of Ireland international has played 90 minutes in every game since December 28th, and given his colourful injury history, we feel he should be rested.

In attack, with Tosun out injured and Townsend only just returning to training - as too with Benteke - there are few options to play alongside Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Ayew, so we think Max Meyer deserves to come back into the fold.

The Germany international has sat the last few games out after a horror challenge from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but with only 18-year-old Brandon Pierrick as a viable option to play on the wing, we think Meyer would be the safer pair of hands given the teenager's inexperience - Pierrick has played just seven Premier League minutes.
