HYS: Should Crystal Palace sign Oumar Niasse from Everton?

Crystal Palace have made no secret of their desire to sign a striker this month, and it goes without saying that they are somewhat desperate for a frontman who knows where the back of the net is.

The Evening Standard reports that the Eagles are set to rekindle their interest in out-of-favour Everton striker Oumar Niasse, who is yet to start to start a Premier League game this season under Marco Silva.

Funds are limited at Selhurst Park, so any new arrival will have to be on the cheap, but, as seen in the aforementioned report, Roy Hodgson has said that any new striker will have to improve the options he currently has at his disposal.

Seeing as Jordan Ayew is the club’s top-scoring striker this season with just two goals, Palace fans may have been hoping for a more exciting name than Niasse to be linked with, but the Senegalese forward can still be a handful on his day.
