Wilfried Zaha put Crystal Palace 1-0 up in their home Premier League game with Chris Ramsey’s Queens Park Rangers by scoring a tap in at the far post. However, the winger’s joy was short-lived as his momentum saw him collide with the post just after he’d clipped the ball in.
The early signs didn’t look good for Zaha as he stayed down on the ground following his goal and was completely unable to celebrate. Thankfully the 22-year-old forward wasn’t seriously injured and was able to carry on after taking a few minutes to recovery.
Queens Park Rangers can take some hope from the fact that The Eagles haven’t kept a clean sheet in 10 Premier League matches at Selhurst Park. On the flip side, QPR have allowed more shots on target against them than any other team in the Premier League (160).
And it was this latter stat that really showed as Ramsey’s side conceded another two goals before the break.
