Steve Parish has reacted to Crystal Palace's 1-0 win over Newcastle with a 13-word Instagram post.

The Eagles supremo - who gave an interview earlier this week outlining what happened in the January transfer window, as well as an update on his plans for Selhurst Park and the new academy site - was reacting to Saturday's victory over the Magpies, which took the Eagles on to 33 points for the campaign.

A stunning freekick from Patrick van Aanholt helped Roy Hodgson's side take the three points, on a day where the south Londoners could've scored a few more goals - Gary Cahill and Scott Dann were both denied by Martin Dubravka in breathtaking fashion, while Jordan Ayew struck the base of the post.

The victory will surely come as a relief to Parish and Hodgson, as Crystal Palace hadn't won a game since they beat West Ham on Boxing Day - which was almost two months ago.
