Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to react after it was reported by Nice-Matin (via Get French Football) that the Eagles, Newcastle and Everton are keen to sign the OGC Nice winger this summer.
Saint-Maximin scored six goals and recorded four assists in 2018/19 whilst putting on a dazzling display of skills on most gameweeks for the Ligue 1 side.
A Crystal Palace fan shares his most gutting moment of the last 10 years supporting the Eagles in the video below…
The 22-year-old is a typically flamboyant wide man who would fit in well at Selhurst Park given the rich history of successful wingers the club has had; in recent years, the likes of Yannick Bolasie and Wilfried Zaha are perhaps most similar to the Frenchman.
One fan below has even labelled Saint-Maximin as the ‘perfect Zaha replacement’, with the fact that the Ivorian wants Champions League football a well documented one in recent weeks.
It appears that the Palace fans on Twitter want to see the mercurial wide man arrive in SE25 this summer, so let’s take a look at some of the tweets…
