Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has admitted he will make signing a striker his top priority in the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT.
The Eagles have lacked a cutting edge so far this season and Warnock has been given the funds needed to go out and get a proven goalscorer next month.
With Dwight Gayle and Marouane Chamakh being Palace’s main source of goals, Warnock admits he will be looking to strengthen his attacking line sooner rather than later.
He said: “We’ve been looking for a striker since I came. I only arrived a couple of days before the window closed so it’s been a bit difficult really.
“We need to bring players in. It’s just trying to find the two to three players which will add to the squad we’ve got.”
Warnock’s Palace currently occupy 15th spot in the Premier League and host Stoke City at Selhurst Park on Saturday in the hope of ending a run of three games without a win.
