Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to reveal one thing that they've noticed about Cenk Tosun.

He is vastly similar to Glenn Murray.

The Turkey international - who recently arrived on loan from Everton - netted his first goal for the south Londoners on his first start for the club, instinctively heading Gary Cahill's knockdown beyond Ederson.

In addition to his goal, Tosun won four aerial duels and completed an impressive five dribbles, which was the same amount as Wilfried Zaha managed.

The 28-year-old also drew three fouls and recorded a tackle in what was an exceptional display, one which rightly received praise from the Crystal Palace supporters on Twitter.

However, the comparisons to former Eagles marksman Murray wouldn't go away.

The 36-year-old hitman helped the south Londoners earn promotion back in the 2012/13 campaign with a huge 30 Championship goals in 42 appearances - the Englishman netted a total of 47 goals in 126 games for the club.

Not only does Tosun play like Murray, but the pair also look quite similar too!

Let's see what the Crystal Palace fans on Twitter have been saying...

HLTCO kicked off the discussion by saying that, not only does Tosun look like Murray, but he plays like him too.

This supporter also added that they've "missed someone like that" up top since the current Brighton striker left.

Elsewhere, this pair of supporters also made the same comparison, with one saying that Tosun is "literally our Premier League Glenn Murray" while another described the on-loan Everton man as the "Turkish Glenn Murray".

Furthermore, amid a list of thoughts from the 2-2 draw, this fan also added that the former Besiktas man "looks and plays like Murray" - adding further weight to the comparison.

Lastly, these two fans added even more weight to the discussion by making a similar point.

Tom said that Palace's new No.20 is the "second coming" of the former No.17, while 'SPH Selhurst' mentioned that Tosun's hard work and good finishing is Murray-esque - this fan also added that they think "we are going to love him".
