Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to reveal that they'd be happy to see Wilfried Zaha join Bayern Munich, after Sky Sports reported that the Bundesliga side have held preliminary discussions with the forward's new agent Pini Zahavi.

The Ivory Coast international recently appointed super-agent Zahavi as a replacement for Will Salthouse, and the Israeli negotiator has been talking to Bayern about signing his latest client.

Sky Sports report that, while a move to the Allianz Arena this month is not impossible for Zaha, a summer switch is 'more likely' with only a 'handful' of clubs across Europe possessing the funds to complete such a deal.

Surely, a move to Germany would be best for Palace, right?

It would mean that the south Londoners don't have to face their talented academy graduate at least twice a season should he move to a Premier League side, while it would also most likely mean that Zaha himself gets to fulfil his ambitions of playing in the Champions League.

It remains to be seen what happens with the former Manchester United man's future in football, but let's see what the Palace fans on Twitter are saying about Bayern Munich's interest...

These two supporters said that they'd be "happy" if Zaha ended up with the Bundesliga giants, with the first fan named Liam mentioning that he is "fine with this" - given our aforementioned reasoning, it would make sense on the south Londoners' behalf.

Elsewhere, this fan named Kieran seemed a tad more enthusiastic by this destination for Zaha, exclaiming "THIS IS THE MOVE" in all capital letters - you'd think he'd be less excited about Palace's star player possibly leaving!

Meanwhile, Cal said that, if Zaha "has to leave" he would "love" for Bayern Munich to be the ones to take him.

Furthermore, Ben said that, "if he went somewhere" he'd rather Zaha go abroad, before stating that he wouldn't be able to stand seeing the No.11 in another Premier League side's kit.

Lastly, Dom went as far as saying that it would be a "perfect" move, before explaining that it would mean Palace "never" have to face Zaha while making the sweeping statement that "all" of the Eagles fanbase would love to see the Ivorian in the Champions League.

Dom continued that it would also allow his side to "progress as a team" and not be so reliant on the 27-year-old.

In other news, Crystal Palace fans have reacted to the club's interest in a Bundesliga midfielder, with one even saying "swap him for Meyer and Milivojevic"...
