Dutch ace’s agent hints at Man United or Chelsea move

Wesley Sneijder’s agent has opened the door for his client to leave Galatasaray amid interest from Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Dutch ace has been in Turkey since 2013, but his spell with the Istanbul giants has been a turbulent one, with rumours suggesting that he’s been close to moves away on several occasions.

And now boss Cesare Prandelli’s decision to leave him on the bench for Gala’s 3-0 weekend loss to Trabzonspor has prompted speculation that all is now well once again.

Sneijder himself has insisted that he’s happy where he is on many occasions, but with United and Chelsea thought to be admirers of the playmaker he has options available to him.

Although his agent, Guido Albers, says that there is no unrest yet, he also suggested that his client may look to leave Galatasaray if his situation does not change:

“We plan on talking to the club to get their thoughts on the future of Wesley. I do not know why he is not playing.” He is quoted by The Express.

“He wants to stay, but nobody likes to be on the bench so we will see…”

Louis van Gaal is known to be a massive fan of his compatriot, while Jose Mourinho coached the midfielder during, arguably, the best spell of his playing career at Inter Milan.
