AC Milan midfielder Keisuke Honda has put Everton and Tottenham on alert by asking to leave the club, as reported by talkSPORT.
The Japan international has reportedly grown frustrated at the San Siro and wants to find a new clun before the end of the currently transfer window.
talkSPORT report that Honda ‘has become disillusioned’ with life in Italy and has asked the club’s hierarchy to leave.
Premier League duo Everton and Spurs have previously been linked with the 29-year-old attacking midfielder and could use his current situation to their advantage.
Honda signed for the Italian giants in January 2013 but has since failed to live up to expectations.
It is believed Milan are still hopeful that the player will come good this season, but would consider cashing in on him if they receive a respectable offer for his signature.
Honda has scored seven goals in 43 Serie A outings since arriving in Italy two years ago.
