This is without doubt the standout fixture of Saturday’s action, Mauricio Pocettino and his Spurs side have a point to prove after last season’s collapse and Ronald Koeman will want to make a good start to what is a crucial season for his Everton side.
The Dutchman has a decision to make at the back after John Stones left for Man City and his replacement, Ashley Williams, is not ready to start the new season.
On top of that both Seamus Coleman and Romelu Lukaku are doubtful with ankle and heel injuries respectively, whilst their new boss has admitted that his side are only 70% ready ahead of the new season.

The visitors, Spurs, go into the new season with a clean bill of health, their only issue is that Moussa Dembele still have three games left of his six-match ban incurred in that fiery encounter with Chelsea which saw Leicester crowned champions.
