Goodison has usually proved a rather unfruitful hunting ground for Chelsea over the years but Jose Mourinho’s men put an end to that tradition with a 6-3 thrashing in this fixture last term. However, the mood feels very different this time around and you’d feel the Champions would take 3 points of any kind.

Chelsea have shipped a total of eight goals in their last three away Premier League games, twice as many as they conceded in the seven games on the road before that.

However, Everton have failed to score in two consecutive PL games. They last failed to score in three back in April 2006 when they ultimately went four fixtures without scoring.

But Chelsea’s star man Eden Hazard has failed to score in any of his last seven PL games, the second-longest goal drought of his career (he hit nine games without a goal in September 2013).
