Everton are keen on signing Manchester United star Adnan Januzaj on loan, however the winger must force a move with the Red Devils hierarchy, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Januzaj burst into the scene last season after some brilliant displays for David Moyes, however the Belgian has struggled for regular playing time under new manager Louis van Gaal.
And now Toffees boss Roberto Martinez, who is a big fan of Januzaj, is preparing to make a deadline day swoop for the 19-year-old.
Everton have been inconsistent this season and Martinez is keen on adding Januzaj to boost their ailing attack.
The former Wigan boss is even willing to renew his interest for the starlet in the summer, with a permanent move on the cards.
But Martinez believes that Januzaj must ask for a move if there’s any chance of the Red Devils letting him go, with Van Gaal previously rejecting Paris Saint-Germain’s bid for the youngster.
However with Januzaj down the pecking order compared to the likes of Angel di Maria and Juan Mata, the lure of regular first team football could convince him to depart Old Trafford sooner rather than later.
