The England No.1’s future has been thrown into doubt over the course of the past few days, with new Etihad Stadium boss Pep Guardiola having dropped him in favour of Willy Caballero for BOTH of his opening two competitive games of the season.
Naturally, this has led to questions about his future, and reports have claimed that Hart could be moved on by the Manchester heavyweights if they’re able to snap up a new goalie before the looming transfer deadline.
Barcelona’s Claudio Bravo is thought to be the player they want, and with a deal close it looks likely that the 29-year-old Citizens favourite will be pushed aside.
And Anderson has shed some light on the stopper’s situation by revealing that Liverpool are not in the running for his signature, while also claiming Everton are keen:
He tweeted: “I understand that Liverpool are not interested in signing Joe Hart. Everton are keen, but have yet to make contact with Man City.”

Anderson’s claims back up suggestions from BBC Sport’s David Ornstein that a loan move to Everton is a possibility for Hart.
