Everton fans react as Calvert-Lewin linked with £50m Manchester United move

Many Everton fans have reacted on Twitter after The S*n reported that Manchester United could be lining up a move for £50m-rated striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The centre-forward has certainly hit a purple patch in front of goal in recent weeks, netting five times in his previous five Premier League appearances and reaching double figures for the season against Newcastle United last time out.

Would you sell Calvert-Lewin for £50m?

Now The S*n report that the Red Devils are eyeing up the 22-year-old having lost out to Borussia Dortmund for the signature of Red Bull Salzburg’s Erling Haaland, although Toffees manager Carlo Ancelotti surely won’t want to lose him.

Indeed, the Italian has even suggested that “he is going to be at the top in England and in Europe”, as per The Daily Mail, which surely means it is unlikely the 60-year-old would sanction his exit.

However, not all fans had the same point of view, with one suggesting he would “bite their hand off for £50m” if the offer came in, and another saying he would walk him to Old Trafford for £15m.
