At club level, the 28-year-old plies his trade with Rennes, finishing last season with an impressive nine goals and three assists in 33 Ligue 1 appearances – only 14 of which were starts.

According to The Liverpool Echo, fresh managerial appointment Ronald Koeman has been tracking the speedy wideman for some time and is now considering a summer swoop.

Rennes rate Grosicki at around the £10million mark and Polish sources have suggested the Toffees are already in talks with his agent.

Koeman is expected to oversee an unprecedented summer window at Everton, with the club’s new owners seemingly willing to spend big.
