Everton striker Nikica is set to weight up his future at Goodison Park this summer, according to reports from The Express.

The Croatian made a fine start to Premier League life last season, netting 12 goals despite only signing with the Toffees in January.

But, he has struggled this term, with manager David Moyes often electing to field Victor Anichebe instead.

This has seen the 27-year-old’s goals return plummet, with only one effort to show in his last 14 outings.

According to reports, this has caused the ex-Rangers man to consider his future on Merseyside.

He is now looking to get his career back on track and is unsure if this can be achieved with Everton.

As a result, Jelavic has opened the door for interested parties to make a move, with a number of clubs across Europe likely to be keen.

Moyes will be keen to keep hold of the hot-shot, who has shown signs of building a strong relationship with Marouane Fellaini, but may be unable to do so unless European football is secured for next season.

Jelavic has been a prolific goal scorer at almost every club he has played for, notching impressive tallies for his previous two employers Rangers and Rapid Vienna.
