Everton and England midfielder Tom Cleverley and his family were threatened by armed robbers at his Manchester home, according to the Independent.
The former Manchester United academy graduate was residing at home with wife Georgina Dorsett and their two-year old daughter when thieves stormed his luxurious North West mansion.
One is reported to have been wielding a baseball bat, joined by a fellow intruder armed with an extendable baton.
They are said to have demanded where the couple store their luxury items, making off with a £10,000 Hermes Birkin handbag and a £15,000 Cartier bracelet, along with a £50,000 Audemars Piguet watch.
A £100,000 valued Range Rover is also believed to have been stolen, acting as a getaway vehicle.
Cleverley’s former teammates Sam Johnstone and Angel Di Maria have also been the targets of thieves around the Greater Manchester area in recent months.
He and his wife, a cast member on The Only Way is Essex, have been married since June and have a two-year old daughter named Neveah Rose.
