Everton manager Roberto Martinez yet again ran the rule over reported target Andriy Yarmolenko during last night’s Champions League clash with Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.
The Dynamo Kiev forward has long been linked with a move to the Toffees, who are understood to have failed in an attempt to land him over the summer.
Still, Martinez was believed to be in attendance at the Etihad Stadium last night in order to cast a watchful eye over the 26-year old.
Despite signing a new deal in the Ukrainian capital only last year, keeping him under contract until 2020, the Merseyside outfit retain an interest.
Though they have struggled to capitalise on the vast amounts of talent in their squad in the Premier League this year, the club recently announced they have a wealthy new backer.
The report claims any deal would likely cost around £25m, with Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri now having a 49.9% stake at Goodison Park.
