Alex Iwobi has got off to a good start to his Everton career and having cemented his place in the starting XI in recent games, he will look to pay back his £34m transfer fee.

Compared to his Arsenal career - when he scored 15 goals in four years - the winger has already been more productive, with two goals from his three starts.

If he maintains that over the course of the season he will be a tremendous success for the Toffees and some fans are already impressed with what they have seen so far.

The 24-year-old has injected pace into the Everton attack and that should help with their pressing style. The opening goal against Wolves was a great example of putting that system into practice and the more he builds his understanding with teammates, the better he should be.

Fans have praised his energy and intelligence, with late runs into the box to score headers against Lincoln and Wolves perhaps an indication that he has improved his decision-making and attacking positioning, which was previously criticised by Unai Emery.
