Loads of Everton fans on Twitter have suggested that they want to see new boy Alex Iwobi play in the No.10 role for the club.
The Toffees brought the Nigeria international to Goodison Park in a deal which could rise to £34m on deadline day, so it was no surprise that he didn’t make the 18-man squad for the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace having only just linked up with his new teammates.
For that to happen he would need to dislodge Gylfi Sigurdsson from the starting XI with the Iceland international once again playing in the No.10 role against the Eagles last weekend, but it might not be as difficult as you may think seeing as he came under criticism from fans for his performance at Selhurst Park.
Everton supporters have been discussing the African attacker on the popular social media platform, and it is clear to see that many would like to see him played throught the middle rather than on the flanks, with some saying directly they would like to see him replace Sigurdsson.

I’d like to see Iwobi replace Siggy as a No. 10 and Kean start ahead of DCL.

I think we will see Iwobi playing the 10 role sometime soon.

Don’t want to break up Digne’s partnership with Bernard so soon. But we could do with more pace and creativity in the side. Would be tempted to drop Gylfi and see what Iwobi can bring ?

No.10. Give Gylfi and Bernard a half each on the left wing. They both need a kick up the ass.
