Everton fans are once again questioning their club and manager’s decision making, as loaned out Ademola Lookman scored a brace for Red Bull Leipzig on Saturday.
You’d be hard pushed to find an Everton fan that’s happy with their club’s recent transfer business, and the Toffees seem to have made another mistake by loaning out Ademola Lookman.
Yannick Bolasie has taken plenty of flak for his performances since returning from injury, and Theo Walcott has not exactly set the world alight despite a great start for the club.
Lookman was brought in from Charlton in January 2017, but has made just 15 league appearances for the Toffees, most of those as a substitute.
The speedy 20 year-old scored a brace in Leipzig’s 4-1 win over Wolfsburg this weekend, taking him to three goals and one assist in his last four matches for his loan club.
Everton are desperate for a direct, exciting winger to inspire the side and the fans, so it’s no surprise that fans are furious with the decision to loan Lookman out in January.

Ademola Lookman scores again for RB Leipzig. Another victory for Sam Allardyce’s judgement… #EFC

That’s because Leipzig have a manager that plays a brand of football that suits him but also puts faith in young players and gives them chances and the freedom to express themselves.

Allardyce should be sacked for his treatment of Lookman alone, never mind anything else. Dropping the ball on clearly a great young talent, the type the likes of Spurs would nurture & develop, whilst we totally struggle with an ineffectual Bolasie -just bad management, simple as.

I think Sam wanted to keep Bolasie because he can get a bigger bonus on the profit if we sell Lookman.

Ademola Lookman has scored 4 goals since he joined Leipzig. Walcott has 3 since he joined Everton.

Lookman is the kind of player we need, exciting and explosive. His first thought when he gets the ball is to attack. Unfortunately our manager doesn’t have any of these attributes. Can see him being sold in the summer. Another one which will come back to bite us on the arse.
