Everton fans bash Rudiger comments on Bernard

Loads of Everton fans have been giving their verdict on Sunday’s draw at Chelsea, and they can’t believe what Antonio Rudiger had to say about his altercation with Bernard.

Bernard has already become a bit of a fan favourite at Goodison Park due to his samba skills, though the crafty winger struggled to make much of an impact against Chelsea.

The 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge was one of the cagiest games of the season, and there were plenty of feisty tackles to go around as well.

Yerry Mina got things started with a crunching tackle on Eden Hazard, and Jorginho was really lucky to only get a yellow card for his lunge on Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Bernard and Rudiger were both booked after the pair squared up to each other, a tussle that ended with the German international throwing himself to the ground in dramatic fashion.

“He was diving and I told him to stand up, and then I was standing and he came with a lot of speed and hit me with his forehead, and I get a yellow card,” the Chelsea ace has since said.

“To me that’s a joke.”

Everton fans are absolutely crucifying his verdict on the incident, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
