Loads of Everton fans have been reacting to some bizarre comments from Romelu Lukaku, and they are absolutely crucifying their former hero.

Everton are absolutely desperate for a clinical striker to add to their new-look attack, but it certainly doesn’t seem like fans are missing Lukaku.

The powerful Belgian scored an incredible 68 Premier League goals in 141 appearances for the Toffees, but angered fans towards the end of his time on Merseyside with his attempts to leave.

He has now drawn criticism from a Manchester United legend for some rather strange comments, as he openly said he would like to play in Serie A.

“Why not? I hope it happens,” the Manchester United front man responded when asked about a future move to Italy.

Gary Pallister, who won the Premier League four times under Sir Alex Ferguson, has blasted the striker for his comments.

“It’s disrespectful if you start mentioning other clubs when you’re actually contracted to the club you’re at” said Pallister.

“At a time when a club is under real pressure to have their leading goal-scorer say he’d like to move abroad – if that’s what he has done – is not the ideal scenario.”

Manchester were on a torrid run of form before the international break, and Lukaku himself has only managed four goals so far this season.
