Everton have joined the race to sign Aaron Ramsey from Arsenal, as reported by The Sun.

Ramsey will see his current deal with Arsenal expire at the end of the season, and it is understood that contract discussions have well and truly broken down.

Ramsey will not exactly be short of offers, and the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan have all been linked with the Wales international.

According to The Sun, Everton are also very much in the hunt, with the club's director of football Marcel Brands tasked with getting the deal done.

The Toffees are said to be prepared to pay Ramsey £150,000 a week, and the midfielder could also receive £15m just for making the move to Goodison Park.

Ramsey has scored 60 times and registered 60 assists in 340 appearances for Arsenal since joining the London club from Cardiff City in 2008.

The 27-year-old is expected to move on at the end of the season, however, and Everton supporters have called on their club to get the deal done.
