There is no question that Ademola Lookman is highly-rated by Everton.

But the simple fact of the matter is that the 20-year-old has only played 154 minutes of Premier League football during the 2017-18 campaign.

The attacker has started just once in the top flight this season, but did impress in the Europa League - scoring twice in three appearances for the Merseyside outfit.

Lookman, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has been linked with a move away from Everton this month, but Toffees boss Sam Allardyce confirmed on Monday afternoon that the youngster would not be leaving on loan.

He has not played in the Premier League since December 18, which is a surprise when considering Everton have not exactly been flying in recent weeks.

The Merseyside outfit will be eyeing all three points at home to Leicester City on Wednesday night, and the club's supporters are desperate for Lookman to be given a chance.

It would be fair to say that the pressure is firmly on Allardyce following a run of seven games without a win in all competitions.
