Everton fans are absolutely crucifying Sam Allardyce for skipping out on the side’s annual lap of honour after Saturday’s draw.

Everton played their final home game of the season on Saturday, and fans are fuming with Sam Allardyce for not showing his face after the match.

Regardless of how disappointed fans are with their side’s season, the lap of honour is expected of every player and manager at practically every club after the final home game, so it’s no surprise fans are bashing Big Sam again.

The ex-England manager claimed media responsibilities prevented him from participating in the lap around Goodison, but fans have rightfully pointed out that has never stopped any other manager under the same circumstances.

The Toffees drew 1-1 with Southampton thanks to a late equaliser from Tom Davies, but fans aren’t as concerned with the result as they are with their manager’s behaviour.

Some fans are hoping Allardyce’s absence was a club decision as they look to replace him this summer, while others are crucifying the manager for a lack of respect towards the supports.

Either way, the Goodison faithful are not happy with their boss, and some of the best Twitter reactions can be found below...
